Vale do Rio Doce public its Alunorte company output in 2007

Brazil Vale do Rio Doce puliced that its alumina company—Alunorte output in 2007 is 4.25m ton, rose 8% compared to the same time last year. 4Q output is 1.16m ton,this number is 1.13m ton at the same time in last year. Vale do Rio Doce own 57% of Alunorte shares, 34% is owned by Hydro of Norway, the left was has by Japan and Brazil personal companies. Besides, the total output of Albras and Valesul Company of Vale do Rio Doce is 551,000 ton, keep the same as 2006, 4Q output is 139,000 ton, this number is 138,000 ton in the same time last year. Vale do Rio Doce own 51% of Albras’ shares and all of Valesul’s shares.
