China's aluminium output falls to 922KT in Dec -IAI

LONDON, Feb 23 (Reuters) - China's primary aluminium production fell to 922,000 tonnes in January from 946,000 tonnes in December and 1.06 million tonnes in January 2008, an industry report showed on Monday. Provisional figures from the International Aluminium Institute (IAI) showed total global production was 3.028 million tonnes in January, down from 3.076 million tonnes in December and 3.236 million tonnes in January 2008.
