Rio Tinto’s Albanese Sees Delays in Mongolia Venture, SMH Says

March 9 (Bloomberg) -- Rio Tinto Group’s construction of the $3 billion Oyu Tolgoi copper-gold deposit with Ivanhoe Mines Ltd. in Mongolia may proceed at a slower pace than planned, the Sydney Morning Herald reported. Chief Executive Officer Tom Albanese told the newspaper last week that it’s likely the company might take more time in the construction phase given the current economic environment.
