Unwrought aluminium stocks 1.619 mln T in Feb-IAI

LONDON, March 26 (Reuters) - Western world unwrought aluminium stocks fell to 1.619 million tonnes at the end of February, compared with a revised 1.668 million in January, industry data showed on Thursday. Unwrought stocks stood at 1.545 million in February 2008, provisional International Aluminium Institute (IAI) figures showed. Total aluminium smelter stocks excluding finished end-products fell to 2.912 million tonnes at the end of February, versus a revised 2.988 million in January and 2.777 in February 2008.
