China aluminium output rises to 883,000 T in March-IAI

LONDON, April 23 (Reuters) - Primary aluminium production in China rose to 883,000 tonnes in March from 869,000 in February, provisional figures from the International Aluminium Institute (IAI) showed on Thursday. China's aluminium production in March 2008 was 1.044 million tonnes, the IAI said. Earlier this week the IAI said daily average primary aluminium output fell to 65,200 tonnes in March from 66,200 tonnes in February.
