Chinalco says unaware of Anglo American bid talk

A spokesman for Aluminium Corp. of China (Chinalco) on Tuesday said he was unaware of market talk of bidding interest in Anglo American from China's state-owned mining and mineral giant. Shares in miner Anglo American pared losses during Tuesday morning trade, with dealers citing market talk of bidding interest from China state-owned Chinalco.
