Century Aluminum: Volcano not impacting operations

MONTEREY, Calif. （AP） - Century Aluminum Co. said Monday that ongoing eruptions of the Eyjafjallajokull Volcano are having no impact on operations in Iceland by Nordural, one of its subsidiaries.

The volcano is located approximately 100 miles east of Nordural's smelter operations.

Shares of Century, which is based in Monterey, Calif., fell 33 cents to close at $14.81.
