Alcan Inc said it is acquiring a 76 pct stake in Alukbond India Private Ltd, a maker of aluminium composite panels, from its owner Navin Keswani.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
Alcan said the company will be renamed Alcan Composites India Private Ltd and Keswani will become a minority shareholder, while remaining a board member.
Keswani will also serve as a consultant to Alcan, advising the company of its business interests in India.
