Alcan in multi-year agreement to supply aluminium to Eclipse Aviation

LONDON - Alcan Inc has announced that it has signed a long-term agreement with Eclipse Aviation for the supply of lightweight aluminium products; no financial terms were disclosed.

"This agreement demonstrates Alcan's commitment to a long-term relationship with Eclipse Aviation, the manufacturer of the Eclipse 500 very-light jet," said Christel Bories, CEO of Alcan Engineered Products. " The lightweight aluminium product will be supplied to Eclipse by Alcan's Ravenswood USA, and French Issoire rolling mills.
