Alcan's mascara brush promises the ultimate lash

Alcan Packaging Beauty's latest mascara brush has been used by Coty's Rimmel for the launch of a new mascara product, Magnif'Eyes. The elastomer brush is said to have the convenience of a brush and the separating function of a comb, helping to create long, curled lashes. The brush is moulded in red deep-dyed LDPE and guarantees easy application with no clumping thanks to its small burrs. Rimmel's mascara combines a red and black colour combination and features hot stamping with a glossy red film. Alcan also promises to develop a functional mascara brush mock-up ready for early make-up testing in just 15 days. This short lead-time, says the French packaging expert allows different concepts to be tested to achieve the required make-up effect.
