Chalco raises alumina prices by 6.3 pct

HONG KONG, Sept 1 - Aluminum Corp of China Ltd <2600.HK><601600.SS> raised spot alumina prices by 6.3 percent to 2,550 yuan per tonne from Tuesday, the second hike in just about one month, according to its website. Chalco, the country's top aluminium firm and the world's third-largest alumina producer, increased spot alumina prices by 4.3 percent to 2,400 yuan on Aug. 1.
