Alcan (Tianjin) Alloy Products Company Ltd. Holds 1st Annual Meeting in Xiamen, ChinaAlcan Cable, a business unit of Rio Tinto, recently held its first annual China meeting in Xiamen, China. Attended by employees, management, and notable industry experts, the focus of the meeting was the promotion and sale of STABILOY? aluminium alloy cables.
“The Alcan Cable (China) annual meeting addressed the company’s expectations for success, social responsibility and passion for the STABILOY brand in order to promote and sell STABILOY cable aggressively in China,” said Alex Tham, Managing Director, Alcan (Tianjin) Alloy Products Company Ltd.
Jack Miller, President of Alcan Cable, attended the meeting and presented the sales awards at the company dinner and celebration. “Our China operations exceeded their 2011 performance goals because of the hard work, dedication and outstanding teamwork of all our China employees,” said Jack Miller, President of Alcan Cable.
The meeting featured several key note speakers who shared their expertise on the China market. Mr. Ren Zhiqiang, the most influential person in China’s real estate industry, presented his three year real estate market forecast. Mr. Yang Peng, the secretary-general, One Foundation and Ms. Kelly Zhu, Project Manger, One Foundation, along with Mr. Kester Yim, Managing Director of Habitat For Humanity, presented overviews of their organizations’ work and outlined their Corporate Social Responsibility programs.
