China’s largest bauxite project in Guinea puts into operation

   The debugging test of Aluminum Corporation of China Limited (Chalco)’s largest bauxite project with a 23-kilometer conveyor belt in Boffa was successfully completed, which marked the full operation of the big project in Guinea.

  The project had around 1.75 billion tons of aluminum ore reserves, which could be mined for around 60 years.
  The total investment of the first phase of the project was roughly US$585 million, and the designed annual production capacity of high-quality bauxite was 12 million tons.
