New Delhi, Jan 19: Areva T&D India has won orders worth around Rs 251.97 crore from Reliance Petroleum Ltd, National Aluminium Company Ltd (NALCO) and General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL).
The company has received a Rs 42.5 crore order from Reliance Petroleum for eight autotransformers for its Jamnagar refinery in the special economic zone being developed by Reliance Industry, an Areva release said.
The delivery is scheduled to be completed by June 2007.
It has also received a Rs 193.4 crore contract from Nalco, for its Angul plant at Orissa, to set up substations, switchyards and power distribution systems, the release said.
Meanwhile, Areva's Instrument Transformer unit at Bangalore has bagged an order for wall bushings from Libya-based GECOL. The order has been valued at Rs 16.17 crore.
The first phase of the order is expected to finish by December 2006 and the second by December 2007.
