Madras Aluminum announced its fourth quarter net profit of Rs. 42.19 crores, up 60% from Rs. 26.45 crores in the same period last year. The quarterly total income rose to Rs. 140.69 crores from Rs. 123.56 crores in the year ago quarter.
The company posted net profit of Rs. 135.35 crores on total income of Rs. 418.73 crores for the financial year ended March 31, 2007.
