Hindalco Hikes Aluminum Product Prices

Hindalco Industries, India's largest aluminum producer by volume, has increased its product prices by INR3,500 a metric ton ($88.95), a company spokesperson said. The hike is effective from Oct. 2, the spokesperson added. The prices have been increased in line with a rise in aluminum prices on the London Metal Exchange. The company is the world's largest producer of aluminum flat products. Monday, India's state-run National Aluminum Co., or Nalco, raised its product prices by INR3,000/ton.
