India April-September Aluminum Output Rises 10%

India's state-run and private companies produced around 612,216 metric tons of aluminum in the first half of the financial year that ends in March, up 10.44% from a year earlier, an official statement said. The country produced around 347,703 tons of copper, up from 289,754 tons produced during the same period last year, the data showed. India's zinc production during the April-September period totaled 202,692 tons, up from 176,703 tons produced during the same period last year. Its lead production during the period totaled 26,732 tons, up from 19,939 tons produced a year earlier.
