Vedanta Orissa Aluminum plant will put into production in 2009

A government officer said Vedanta Orissa Aluminum plant will put into production in 2009; the production capacity will be 1.25m metric ton. He also said that government has issued commercial production license to this plant and this plant will try to start production on April 1st. its Orissa alumina has started production, annual output is 1m metric ton. Vedanta Co. has said that they will invest $12b on India power generation and metal projects in four years.
