NALCO cuts aluminium prices on lower demand

Nalco has owered aluminum prices by as much as Rs3,500 a metric ton. National Aluminium Co. Ltd. (NALCO), the country's biggest public sector aluminium producer, has reportedly decided to cut prices by as much as 3.5% as the metal demand declined. NALCO has trimmed aluminium prices by as much as Rs.3,500 a metric ton, the report stated. Aluminum ingots are being sold at around Rs96,700 a ton starting from Jan. 17. --indiainfoline.com
