India April-November Aluminum Output 984,238 Tons, Up 17% NEW DELHI (Dow Jones)--India's state-run and private companies produced 984,238 metric tons of aluminum in the April-November period, up 17%, according to data from the Ministry of Mines. The country produced 462,138 tons of copper cathode during the period, up from 414,097 tons in the same period last year, the ministry said in a statement Wednesday. India also produced 401,408 tons of zinc compared with 368,876 tons in the year-ago period and 40,529 tons of lead, up from 39,015 tons.
