Noranda Announces Exercise of Overallotment Option

FRANKLIN, Tenn. -- Noranda Aluminum Holding Corporation （NYSE: NOR） announced today that the underwriters of its recently completed public offering of common stock have exercised in full their option to purchase an additional 1,500,000 shares to cover overallotments at a public offering price of $11.35 per share less the underwriting discount. The company expects to issue and deliver the additional shares on December 22, 2010. The exercise of the overallotment option brings the total number of shares of common stock sold in this offering to 11,500,000.

BofA Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley & Co. Incorporated acted as the global coordinators and joint book-running managers of the offering, and Citi, Credit Suisse Securities （USA） LLC, Goldman, Sachs & Co. and UBS Securities LLC acted as the joint book-running managers of the offering.
