Japan Nov Flat-Rolled Aluminum Pdt Stocks +12.4% On Month-METI

SINGAPORE (Dow Jones)--Japan's inventories of flat rolled aluminum mill products in November rose 12.4% on month and 16.1% on year to 79,539 metric tons, according to preliminary data released Tuesday by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. Output of flat rolled aluminum mill products fell 7.8% on month and 6.6% on year to 107,583 tons, the data showed. Exports of flat rolled products fell 13.6% on month and 12.9% on year to 95,670 tons. For extruded products, inventories rose 7.1% on month but were down 2.8% on year to 11,299 tons. Output of extruded products was down 12.6% on month and 17.3% on year at 67,672 tons. Exports of extruded products fell 16.3% on month and 22.6% on year to 31,084 tons. At 0243 GMT, the London Metal Exchange three-month aluminum contract was trading at $1,522/ton, up $9 from Monday's kerb.
