DJ Nippon Light, JS Group: In Aluminum Construction Material Tie

TOKYO, Mar 18, 2009 (Dow Jones Commodities News via Comtex) -- Nippon Light Metal Co. (5701.TO) and JS Group Corp. (5938.TO) said Wednesday they have started talks to corporate in aluminum materials. Under the possible deal, JS Group - a supplier of construction materials such as window sashes - could acquire a stake of up to 30% in Nippon Light unit Shin Nikkei Company (5924.TO). Nippon Light Metal is an aluminum supplier based in Tokyo.
