Oct. aluminum stockpiles in Japan's main ports up by 1% than Sep.

Nov. 16 MetalBiz--One of main Japan's trading companies stated on November 13 that in October aluminum inventories in Japan's main ports increased by 1% than last month. By the end of October, the aluminum stockpiles totaled 171,200 tons, 81,600 tons at Yokohama Port, 76,600 tons at Nagoya Port, 13,000 tons at Osaka Port. The inventories slid by 32% than the same period last year, and due to the economic recession, Japan's processing mills reduced the production and the imports dropped.
