Sohar Aluminium Smelter will put into production in June

Oman SOhar Aluminum Smelter will put into production in this June, the annual output will be 350,000 metric ton per year. Most of its products will import to abroad. They are discussing if it can extend production capacity to assure gas supplying. Alcan own 20% shares of Sohar Aluminum, Amen Oil and Abu Dhabi Electricity and Water Authority each own 40%. Sohar Aluminum expected its production capacity can increase three times.
