Nov. 22 （Bloomberg） -- The following companies may have unusual price changes today in Asian trading, excluding Japan. Stock symbols are in parentheses and share prices are from the previous close, unless noted otherwise.
Hong Kong developers: The city raised the stamp duty on properties sold within two years, aiming at curbing speculation, Financial Secretary John Tsang said.
The city will also raise the down-payment needed for homes to curb speculation, Hong Kong Monetary Authority Chief Executive Norman Chan said. Cheung Kong （Holdings） Ltd. （1 HK）, the city’s No. 2 developer by market value, dropped 2.6 percent to HK$120.60. Sino Land Co. （83 HK）, controlled by billionaire Robert Ng, slid 1.5 percent to HK$16.32.
Coastal Contracts Bhd. （COCO MK）: The Malaysian shipbuilder said third-quarter net income rose 12 percent from a year earlier to 53.6 million ringgit （$17.2 million） as sales advanced. Coastal climbed 4 percent to 2.32 ringgit.
Nickel Asia Corp. （NIKL PM）: The Philippine nickel producer will start trading today after completing the sale of 304.5 million shares in an initial public offering. Nickel Asia sold shares at 15 pesos each.
Philippine National Bank （PNB PM）: The bank plans to sell up to 10 billion pesos （$228 million） of bonds with a 10-year maturity and callable in 5 1/2 years, a stock-exchange filing showed. The stock rose 2 percent to 66.05 pesos.
Sunway Holdings Bhd. （SGW MK）: The Malaysian builder said its Sunway Geotechnics （M） Sdn. unit received piling contracts totaling 14.7 million ringgit （$4.7 million） from UCSI Education Sdn. and UCSI Resort Hotel and Convention Centre Sdn. Sunway added 6.8 percent to 2.19 ringgit.
