Iranian aluminum ingot production drops in first 11 months

   According to latest statistics from Iranian Mines & Mining Industries Development & Renovation (IMIDRO), Iran produced a total of around 246,666 tons of aluminum ingot in the first 11 months (March 21st to February 19th, 2019), down by 13% compared to the same period a year ago.

  Among them, Iranian Aluminium Company (IRALCO) accounted for the largest proportion, totaling around 162,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 2%; followed by Hormozal Aluminum Company with around 39,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of48%. Almahdi Aluminum Company and Iran Alumina Company were at the third and fourth position respectively, with a separate output of around 38,000 tons and 8,000 tons.
