Norsk Hydro reduces some mills’ capacity due to weak aluminum demand

   It was reported Norsk Hydro, a Norwegian aluminum and renewable energy company, stated last Thursday that it was reducing or suspending production at some mills due to the changeable demand for aluminum caused by coronavirus epidemic outbreak. The firm planned to lower output in the automotive and construction industry and even in southern Europe.

  Due to the impact of the coronavirus epidemic, Norsk Hydro said its customers began to reduce their demand for aluminum, and the situation currently showed in the automotive industry, construction field and southern Europe mainly.
