Bosnian aluminium processing company Feal has cut its production by some 50% as its main buyers from Austria, Germany, Italy and Switzerland have closed down their factories amid the coronavirus outbreak, local media reported.

"Demand has been reduced, many of our buyers have cut operations, and some have even closed down their factories waiting to see how things will develop," the head of Feal, Ante Musa, told news daily Vecernji List in an interview over the weekend.
He noted that some agreed orders may be postponed or cancelled, adding that the company has also faced certain logistics problems at the onset of the coronavirus pandemic.
"We are not contemplating any layoffs," Musa also said.
Privately-held Feal is based in the southwestern town of Siroki Brijeg and has been active in aluminium profiles manufacturing for more than 25 years.
