According to analysts at Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), global aluminum demand will be 0.3% higher than supply growth this year and the figure will reach 2.9% in 2022, which will lead to a reduction in aluminum inventories.

Due to soaring transportation costs, high demand, and the tight supply of primary aluminum and aluminum scrap, aluminum prices might be boosted accordingly, especially in the US and Europe.
