Russia boosts aluminum exports 34% in 5 mths

MOSCOW. July 7 (Interfax) - Russia boosted aluminum exports 33.7% year-on-year in January-May to 1.6 million tonnes, the Federal Customs Service (FCS) said. Copper exports fell 30.1% to 82,600 tonnes, but nickel exports grew 2.1% to 104,400 tonnes. Nearly all the metals were exported to non-CIS countries.
