Alcoa increases prices on some alloy coil products

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Alcoa Inc said its North American Rolled Products division increased prices to its customers by $0.02 a lb for building and construction common alloy coil products, effective with new orders placed on or after July 28. In a note to customers sent earlier this week, the Alcoa division announced the conversion price increase for shipments scheduled on or after Aug. 31. All existing orders and firm agreements confirmed before July 28, will be honored, the Alcoa notice said. (Reporting by Carole Vaporean, Editing by Marguerita Choy)
