DHL appointed official logistics partner for Dubal

DHL, the world's leading logistics company, has been appointed as the official logistics partner for Dubai Aluminum Company Limited ("Dubal"). A two-year contract has been signed between the two companies, giving DHL exclusive responsibility for all Dubal's international courier needs.

This an important achievement for DHL, especially as Dubal is not only the industrial flagship of the UAE, but also one of the largest non-oil contributors to the UAE economy. For DHL, it is also testament to the company's continued commitment to provide superior logistics solutions for its customers in the UAE.

Established in 1979 by a formal decree signed by the late H.H. Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum (then ruler of Dubai), Dubal has evolved into a global aluminum producer, and currently has a production capacity of more than one million metric tonnes of high quality finished aluminum products a year.
