Producer selling continues to cap LME aluminum and the market needs to generate more momentum before making a move higher, says a broker. "Aluminum attracted buying around $2,800/ton but runs out of steam as it moves higher," he notes. Pegs resistance at $2,847/ton, Wednesday's high and a key level not broken in the last month. LME aluminum trades at $2,810/ton, down from $2,823/ton overnight.
