Copper, Zinc Fall on London Metal Exchange; Aluminum, Lead Rise

Sept. 21 -- Copper and zinc dropped on the London Metal Exchange while aluminum and lead increased. Copper for delivery in three months fell $45, or 0.6 percent, to $7,845 a metric ton as of 6:47 a.m. in London. A close at that price would give an advance of 3.9 percent since Aug. 31, the metal's second consecutive weekly increase. Zinc declined $9 to $2,895, aluminum rose $10 to $2,452, nickel was unchanged at $32,600 and lead climbed $10 to $3,265. Tin was unchanged at $15,250.
