LME Plans to prolong copper and aluminum maturity date

LME said recently, it plans to prolong copper and aluminum maturity date for 10 ten years. Copper and aluminum maturity date are 63 months. Chief executive of LME Martin Abbott said: “we will also prolong other contract maturity date.” LME completed $950m futures and option exchange in 2007. Information said that it will prolong copper futures contract on Feb. 25.
