Rio Tinto 2007 profit is $4.81b

According to the report Rio Tinto sent to Australia Stock Exchange Institute said after increase Alcan sale, Alcan bauxite and alumina department income is $4.81b. It predict the aluminum output in 2007 is 4.2m ton, alumina 8.5m ton, bauxite 32m ton. From 2007, ten cents change on aluminum price will lead to $620m change in Rio Tinto’s profit.
