Bahrain- Training Alba's top priority

(MENAFN - Bahrain Tribune) Chairman of the Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) board of directors, Mahmood Hashim Al Kooheji, said that Alba board and executive management consider training one of their top priorities, as its results influence Alba's position in the future as one of the largest modern aluminum smelter in the world.
Al Kooheji made this announcement during his visit to the Alba smelter, where he was received by the Alba acting chief executive, Mahmood Daylami. He met with members of the executive management team and discussed with them different issues on the company's performance and operations.
Following the meeting, he went on a tour around the plant departments and facilities, including the temporary training centre, marketing department, Alba medical centre and Alba club. During the visit, he discussed some work related issues with the employees and congratulated them on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadhan.
Al Kooheji referred to Alba's remarkable improvement in training programmes and urged the management to complete the new Alba training facility that has to comply with the highest international standards and operate with the latest training methods and programmes that reflect Alba's international reputation.
"Alba marketing strategy depends on direct sales approach and creating new markets," said Al Kooheji during his visit to the marketing department.
"These tasks require enormous efforts and a comprehensive team of qualified employees with international market experience, in order to help market Alba's internationally-recognized high-quality products," he said.
