Ball Corporation, one of the biggest manufacturers of aluminum packaging in the world, is planning to expand its manufacturing capacity in Russia and the UK.
To serve the fast-growing Russian beer and energy drinks market, Ball Corp. planned to build a mill in Ulyanovsk. The firm signed a cooperation agreement on the project with the government of the Ulyanovsk region in June.
Besides, Ball Corp. also planned to set up a new plant in the UK, and the location will be SEGRO Park Kettering Gateway site in Kettering, Northamptonshire. The plant will be Ball Corp.'s third beverage can production facility in the UK.
