Century Aluminum Sets Date for Fourth-Quarter 2007 Earnings Announcement

Century Aluminum Company will report fourth-quarter 2007 earnings on Thursday, February 14th after the close of market trading. The news release will be issued through Marketwire. The company will hold a follow-up conference call on Thursday, February 14th at 5:00 p.m. Eastern time. The earnings call will be webcast live on the Century Aluminum Company website, located at www.centuryaluminum.com. Plan to begin the registration process at least 10 minutes before the live call is scheduled to begin. A replay of the webcast will be archived and available for replay approximately two hours following the live call. The combined strengths of our two companies will ensure the delivery of a world-class project.” Global demand for aluminium is on the rise, and the Gulf region today accounts for about 5 per cent of the world aluminium production of 34 million tones, according to reports. This is expected to rise to 15 per cent by 2020 with a projected global production of 60 million tones. The KAEC plant will be complement the market-leading positions of Dubai in aluminium production in the future. KAEC recently opened its Industrial Zone to huge investor response from around the world. The first phase of the Residential Communities was also launched with the Bay La Sun Village gaining sell-out customer response. Work at the site is on-going as per schedule.
