Aluminum giant Novelis continues expansion

Aluminum products giant Novelis Inc. continues expanding its Atlanta headquarters.

Novelis expects to ramp up hiring this year, and add another floor in Tishman Speyer’s Two Alliance Center. It will eventually take the 17th through the 21st floors.

The company is adding corporate functions at its global headquarters and seeing increased demand for aluminum products in emerging markets such as Brazil, China and Asia.

Sales for the nine months ended December 2010 were $7.6 billion, up nearly 22 percent from $6.2 billion during the same period in 2009.
