Bath Material is used as flux in the primary and secondary aluminium production (also in Glass, Ceramics, Steel and Abrasives)
Bath Material is the electrolyte used mainly in the Hall-H?roult process to produce primary aluminium. It contains around 78 - 80% Cryolite.
Bath Material can also be used in various other processes such as aluminium scrap recycling (with rotating furnaces). Other applications are within the Glass-, Steel- and Ceramics-Industry.
