China's rising copper imports expected to cut domestic cash premium, as alleviating local supply; falls to around CNY1,550 from about CNY1,680 yesterday, as imports arrive at Shanghai, traders say. China's refined copper imports at 95,831 tons December vs November's 66,345 tons; country likely to buy more by early March, as imported a third less in 2006 vs 2005, along with domestic destocking.
