India aluminum demand may increase 14% in this fiscal year

India Mining Department Minister T Subbarami Reddy said recently on “008 India Aluminum” that India aluminum production capacity is expected to increase 700,000 ton per year to 1.7-2m ton because they has rose production capacity. He also show that influenced by building, automobile and consumer durables prosperity, aluminum demand in this fiscal year is expected to rise 14%. India aluminum output rank eighth in world, its currently annual output is 1m ton per year.
