Nalco sold 12,500 tonnes alumina in spot market

Bombay, Mar 10 – A senior official from Nalco said on Monday, Nalco sold 12,500 tonnes alumina at FOB $390.25 per tonnes in the spot tender. He said, the alumina is to be shipped at the end of March. Last month, the company sold 30,000 tonnes alumina at $397 per tonne in the spot market. The bidder was from UK. According to data provided by government, Nalco has sold 91,352 tonnes alumina and exported 6,972 tonnes aluminum in January.
