Japan Imported Semi-manufactured Aluminum Products from China Rose 126%

News from Tokyo, Nov. 2: Data from custom said that, from Jan.—Sep., Japan imported Semi-manufactured aluminum products rose 126% from China, compared to the same time last year. Japan imported 204 ton aluminum extrusion products from China, from Jan.-Sep. China become the biggest aluminum extrusion product import country of Japan, and the No. 1 is South Korea in 2006. A Tokyo aluminum manufacture and seller said China aluminum products price is 30%cheaper than local price, and it is entering Japan market in a high speed. Now South Korea has transferred its main export market to Europe, lessen the import to Japan.
