Japan Aluminum Inventory fell to the Lowest Point

Tokyo, Dec. 18—a senior of Japan Marubeni Corp said on Tuesday that by the end of November, Japan aluminum stock fell 16% to 178,000 ton compared to last month, the lowest in record. He said that is the fourth month aluminum stock fell, and November is the lowest. It said that is because domestic manufactures purchased a lot early this year.In November, aluminum stock in Yokohama, Nagoya and Osaka is predicted to fell 25% to 237,000 ton. A manufactures of Japan said aluminum inventory may continue to decrease because imported aluminum from South Africa and Venezuelan was delayed. He also said that the shortage of aluminum may lead to the consumption of aluminum ingot increasing. According to data released in the end of November, aluminum shipment is low. Japan Aluminum Association said aluminum rolling products shipment was fell 1.0% to 204,232 ton because of the weak demand in building industry.
