Japan's aluminum rolling products inventory slides to 80,862 tonnes in January

Singapore, Feb 29 -- According to data released by METI on Thursday, Japan's rolling products inventory down 5.5% to 80,862 tonnes in January. The inventory slide down 0.2% compared with the same period last year. Japan's output of aluminum rolling products was 170,990 tonnes, down 8.6% compared with last month and 3.6% from the same time last year. The shipment of rolling products down 1.2% to 136,447 tonnes, however, rose by 1% year on year.
