Egypt Aluminum Co. aims at increasing its annual production to 320,000 tons by 2010

Egypt Minister of Investment, Dr. Mahmoud Mohie El Din, has inaugurated a new production line at Egypt Aluminum Co. smelter in Nagee Hamadi with LE 200 million investments. The Minister has assured that the company expansion strategy aims at increasing annual production by the year 2010 to 320,000 tons including 250,000 tons of high value added aluminum. He revealed that the company next five year plan provides for investing up to L.E. 1.5 billion, of which L.E.500 million were recently endorsed by the Ministry.
