Tajikistan TALCO Jan-Apr Aluminum Production at 132,420t, UP 0.7%

Dushanbe, May 5, 2008----Tajikistan produced 132,420 tons of aluminum during January to April this year, said source from the sector. The country’s sole aluminum producer Tajikistan Aluminum Co.(TALCO) reached a production of 132,420t during the period, around the same level of the year-earlier period, but the company’s production fell 35% during January and March.
